back
it's been like forever since i last blogged.
due to the workload and the lack of energy by the time i'm home, i haven't been blogging.
only a few interesting and yes, mention-worthy events have happened recently.
the joining of mr ding into the citibankers club. valentine's day. the homecoming of my parents. chinese new year. meeting my more than a decade old friend.
that's about all that's actually interesting and stuff.
first up.
a very belated welcome to mr ding into the citibankers club.haha. one more person to lunch with and yes monkey around in the office.
at least wee's got someone to entertain him with the mundane work and unfriendly staff of his unit.
i don't need much entertainment cos the boss and all the staff at my unit are pretty friendly and they always treat me to yummy food that's left around the office for my own consumption (:
valentine's day was a blast. haha. i was supposed to be on mc but i promised jane that i'll head down to the office to help her print one report in the morning.
so i took a half-day (my mc) and met wee in the afternoon.
headed down to new york new york for lunch.
the service sucked big time. i ordered the seafood penne.
but the waiter gave me a seafood linguine telling me that it was penne.
he brought the wrong order twice.
after which he brought my food but totally forgot about the rest of the food we ordered.
so wee&i headed to tcc for the remaining of lunch (:
the food there was way better than that at new york new york.
that's if you ordered the right stuff.
did i mention that i got a bouquet of tulips? (: (: (:
headed to the botanical gardens to sorta walk off our damn heavy double lunches.
haha. i'm been a long long time since i've been there.
and taking a stroll there and taking goofy pictures with wee was way fun since we haven't been spending much time together apart from work.
had a surprise dinner at his home!! steamboat!! (: love it!
in his room with warm light and stuff (:
moved the entire steamboat pot and all the ingredients to his parents' room to have a sumptous dinner with them.
he rented my super ex-girlfriend as a post movie treat together with blueberries!! (:
it was a simple valentine's day but it was a lot of quality time spent together.

he got me this diy t-shirt that he designed using fabric paint. love it!
and a fossil belt. haha. love that too.

a few days after valentine's day.
my parents came back from shanghai for the chinese new year.
haha. got my mummy a cake from bakerzin since it was her birthday as well.
&the next day was
chinese new year!finally i got to wear all the new clothes and shoes that i bought over the days for cny.
haha. wee&i got a pair of levi's together. yes team jeans. thank goodness they were of different cutting (:
i got myself another pair of zara skinnies quite some time back.
since i bought two jeans i decided to spend a little less on my tops since i never had the intention to spend all my savings from work on just splurging especially since v day was just over and i spent on the presents.
i got an m)phosis top. and 2 random tops - one t-shirt and one blouse.
got my pretty sandals from novo.
no new bag cos i couldnt' find anything i would go crazy over.
had loads of goodies. both homemade ones and those bought from confectionaries and those given as gifts to my mum.
new year's eve was spent at colin's house.
we watched silent hill and duplex. both movies on the totally opposite side of the movie genre.
the gore of silent hill still bugs me once in a while. doesn't freak me out. but disgust i guess.
and duplex was just a typical ben stiller kinda comedy. haha. funny.
next day of cny was to my grandaunty's house after the lims coming over for lunch.
had the lows over for dinner again. haha.
watched miami vice. (:
had loads of catching up with colin and stuff.
the very next day i went over to wee's house. and so many people were there.
his uncles, aunties, cousins, nieces and of course his mum, dad and sister.
it was fun. had loads to eat. not to mention we were playing with the lego set that i got him for v day. haha.
he came over the next day to visit my parents.
loads of visiting. and loads of goodies. probably explains why i've been coughing for about 2months and counting.
finally. it's down to
meeting my decade old friends.met up with milene and sam on the last day of the public holidays.
i've known milene for like 12 years!!
and sam for like 10 years. haha.
come to think of it, i do feel kinda old.
walked around tangs jostling with all the aunties but not for shopping, just to get out of that place.
had my tutu.
met alicia, letitia and another sam around town. haha.
i see alicia everywhere i go. haha. so i kinda expected to see her somewhere some time.
heh. took a trip down to arab street and went to buy fabric for sam's curtains at home.
was great fun since i haven't been there before. all the pretty cloth. now instead of heading straight to spotlight to get my fabric i got a new place in mind.
then it was down to bugis for undies shopping. haha.
and it was bugis street. haha. empty and nothing to buy cos everything was closed.
headed to far east where sam left us to meet her other friend for dinner.
milene and i just chilled. took things slowly to try on like 3-4inches high shoes at all the shops we went to. heh.
had yakun kaya toast just before leaving and saying out goodbyes before she flew off on friday (which was yesterday)
it was great fun and i can't wait for june/july when she comes back.
i heard the results are out on 2 march. i hope not.
